Parade Details

The Portland Mardi Gras Parade features marching bands, entertainers, art, and fun costumes. The parade marches down North Mississippi Avenue from Humboldt to Cook St, starting at 7:00 PM, disbanding in the Von Ebert parking lot . The parade is an all ages event.

The 2026 Honorary Grand Marshall is Portland/New Orleans saxaphone superstar Reggie Houston!

Before the Parade, check out the Kid’s Costume Pageant at Luke’s Frame Shop on Albina. Starting at 5:45 pm, then join the parade as it passes by!

Because parking is at a premium, here’s a guide on how to get to the parade without a car.

Catch some beads from the parade participants, and look for signature mini-umbrella parade throws.
