On March 4, 2025, Mardi Gras day, the Portland Mardi Gras Parade rolls down Mississippi Avenue. The parade is a free, family-friendly event eagerly awaited by Portlanders who love Mardi Gras and Carnival customs.
Our fabulous Portland Mardi Gras Parade is free, which requires us to ask for sponsorship funding, and we want to make that partnership work well for your businesses. Sponsors are promoted through advertising in event news sites, online social sharing, and direct email marketing. Sponsor logos are also included on posters, postcards, news releases, websites, linked in social media posts, TV and radio mentions.
Funding allows us to pay bands and performance groups who bring their professional level merriment to further the cultural experience. We have expanded our contributions to include local community groups and provide small stipends. Other expenses are insurance, permits, flagging, parade throws, and post-parade clean up.
All kinds of people come out for the Portland Mardi Gras Parade, even in cold weather. Live music draws crowds indoors before and after the parade, and many days before to get ready for Portland’s Mardi Gras!

- Gold Sponsor ($500): Your business logo and name will be recognized on the Mysti Krewe of Nimbus Mardi Gras Parade web and social event pages. You will be promoted on active social media sites, newsletter mentions, and a colorful parade poster (Print + Web). Your logo will also be printed on table tents displayed at MKON events and activities. Your Mardi Gras promotion are included on the MKON Mardi Gras Parade webpage. Press notices will recognize Gold Sponsors by name.
- Purple Contributor ($250): Your business name will be recognized on the Mysti Krewe of Nimbus Mardi Gras Parade webpages, shared in an e-newsletter, on social media, and in press notices. Your Mardi Gras promotion will be included on the MKON Mardi Gras Parade webpage. Press notices will recognize Purple Sponsors by name.
- Green Supporter ($100): Your business name and Mardi Gras promotion will be included on the Mardi Gras Parade webpage. Press notices will recognize Green Sponsors by name.
